A good starting point to learn some other tart.
My mini portugis tart... ya... look like a bit over cook. It take sometime to prepare the base.
Next time wanna try again, with adjust the baking time ... : D
Really enjoy the time in my kitchen and it will be great if someone help me take care my kids.

Palvova is a cake?
I think nope because the main ingredient is egg white and without any flour.
A very simple and few ingredienst need and the finish good look nice.
Just can't eat too much...taste a blit like ice cream cake.

Cake: Orange butter cake


Cake: Orange butter cake




This is a simply butter orange cake. I make it just because my kids love it.
This recipe is own by Amey Beh. Thanks for her simple and taste nice recipe.

Ingredients:
150g butter
100g castor sugar
grated rind of orange (one)
3 eggs
1.5 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
 
Sifted flour:
125g self raising flour, 1/8 tsp baking powder, 1tsp milk powder
 
Suggest use 20cm round cake tim. * I use 7" round tin.
 
Method:
1. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2. Add in orange grind.
3. Add in egg one by one and well mix.
4. Add in orange juice and mix until well combined. (* I didn't put orange juice).
5. Stir in flour and half portion each time.
* optional, add in some raisin
6. Pour batter into tin and level.
7. Preheated at 170 degree celcius, bake at 50-60 minutes.
8. Leave cake cool for 5 minutes and move to wire rack.
* my convection oven, I use 180 degree celcius for first 30minutes and follow by 160 degree celcius for another 15 minutes.

Swiss roll: Green tea swiss roll

Finally I make a swiss roll with using my small oven. Headache with my oven size which only able to fit 9 inch round mould or 8 inch square mould. With the limited oven space, I make a 8 inch swiss roll.

La la... my mini swiss roll here ... small and cute. The green tea flavour out of my expectation, taste good.



Ingredients:
3 eggs (grade B)
Sugar 70g
45g plain flour
17g corn flour
3/4 tablespoon green tea powder
25ml corn oil

Method:
Cream sugar and eggs until light.
Sift plain flour, corn flour and green tea powder and mix togather.
Fold in mix flour into egg batter and mix evently.
Add in corn oil and mix evently.
Pour the batter on 8 inch tray (make 2 swiss roll).
Bake at 200 celcius around 18 minutes.
Remove from oven and rest on a wire rack until cool.

Filling: (optional, can substitude with any other favorite filling)
1/2 cup fresh cream
1/2 tablespoon blueberryjam

Method:
Whisk fresh cream until form stiff. Add in blueberryjam and mix evently.

Spread evenlt the filling on the cake and roll it.
Keep roll in fridge before serving.
