Swiss roll: Green tea swiss roll
Finally I make a swiss roll with using my small oven. Headache with my oven size which only able to fit 9 inch round mould or 8 inch square mould. With the limited oven space, I make a 8 inch swiss roll.
La la... my mini swiss roll here ... small and cute. The green tea flavour out of my expectation, taste good.
Ingredients:
3 eggs (grade B)
Sugar 70g
45g plain flour
17g corn flour
3/4 tablespoon green tea powder
25ml corn oil
Method:
Cream sugar and eggs until light.
Sift plain flour, corn flour and green tea powder and mix togather.
Fold in mix flour into egg batter and mix evently.
Add in corn oil and mix evently.
Pour the batter on 8 inch tray (make 2 swiss roll).
Bake at 200 celcius around 18 minutes.
Remove from oven and rest on a wire rack until cool.
Filling: (optional, can substitude with any other favorite filling)
1/2 cup fresh cream
1/2 tablespoon blueberryjam
Method:
Whisk fresh cream until form stiff. Add in blueberryjam and mix evently.
Spread evenlt the filling on the cake and roll it.
Keep roll in fridge before serving.
